FAQs

What is a coaching session like?

Sessions are 45 minutes and designed to work with ADHD brains:

🎯 Quick Check-in - How you're doing and what's on your mind

🔍 Focus on One Thing - We tackle one specific challenge (no overwhelming lists)

💡 Explore What's Working - Build on your strengths, not just problems

🛠️ Create ADHD-Friendly Strategies*- Tools that actually work for your brain

⚡ Choose Your Next Step - One small, doable action (not overwhelming homework)

📞 Between-Session Support - Email check-ins when you need them

No judgment, no shame, no "try harder" advice. Just practical support that gets how your brain works.

Do I have to have a Diagnosis?

You don’t need a formal ADHD diagnosis to benefit from coaching. I’m a certified life coach first, with specialized training in ADHD. Whether you suspect you have ADHD, relate to the challenges it presents, or are simply looking for better strategies to manage your time, focus, or follow-through—I’m here to support you.

Coaching is about helping you move forward, not labeling you.

Do I need to be based in the US?

I can see clients from anywhere in the world as long as they speak English.

How do I know if I’m ready?

You're ready if you:

✓ Are tired of trying the same strategies that don't work for your brain

✓ Want support that understands ADHD, not generic advice

✓ Are willing to try new approaches (even if past attempts haven't stuck)

✓ Want to work with your brain instead of fighting it

✓ Are committed to showing up, even when ADHD makes it hard

Remember: Inconsistency is part of ADHD, not a character flaw. Coaching is designed for brains that work differently. So, if you're ready to collaborate, reflect, and take action, you’re ready for coaching!

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Therapy focuses on healing past wounds, processing trauma, treating mental health conditions

Coaching focuses on building skills and systems for the future you want

You might need therapy: If you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship crisis

You might want coaching: If you need practical tools, accountability, and strategies that work with ADHD

They work great together! Many clients do both - therapy for emotional healing, coaching for practical skills.
